Each of our facilities are equipped with the Redcord suspension system. The Redcord is a device which consists of slings and other attachments that can control the normal load exercises exert on the body. The unique characteristics and adaptations of the Redcord allows the therapists to isolate the smallest of intricate movements and can be altered to the necessary challanges of each patient. The patient has to engage their core muscles in order to control the small perturbations that come with functional movements when they are unstable. Muscles that have been inactive or doormat due to pain or surgery can be trained in an environment that can assistance or guide motion. For example patients after joint replacements who need gravity eliminated motion can train in a pain free range. The Redcords' versatility leans itself to be used as a tool that assists patients who need more support to the athlete needing more full body suspension training. This training encourages balance, coordination, posture and proper function while developing the core muscles and focusing the work to the muscles in need.
